In a world where tech and data fluency has become as indispensable as literacy, our goal is to make these essential skills accessible to everyone, providing learning opportunities that are free to students.

Our Initiatives

Bringing Tech to Burundi

As part of our commitment to closing the digital gap, we partnered with Code Your Dreams, a Chicago-based nonprofit, to support their mission of equipping Burundian students with the skills and resources needed to thrive in the digital economy.

In 2023, Viviana had the privilege of serving as an instructor and mentor for the Women Building Change scholarship program, a six-month initiative focused on teaching Data Science and empowering women through hands-on learning and career mentorship. We worked closely with local contacts to ensure the curriculum was culturally relevant and aligned with the participants' needs, fostering both technical skills and long-term career growth.

While we were in the country, we realized that one of the biggest challenges our students faced was extremely limited and unreliable internet access, making it difficult for them to fully engage with digital learning. Since then, we've been working on fundraising initiatives to bring a reliable internet connection to Burundi.

Data Literacy for Colombians Abroad

As part of our mission to make technology more accessible, we hosted "The Future is Now: Discover the Power of Artificial Intelligence" talk at the Colombian Consulate General in Chicago.

We spent the afternoon demystifying AI, exploring its everyday applications, and sharing practical tips on how anyone, regardless of expertise, can integrate AI into their lives. The excitement in the room sparked a lively debate on the impact of AI on society, with attendees exchanging perspectives on its benefits and challenges.

To support those inspired to dive deeper into tech, we partnered with Code Your Dreams to introduce opportunities for Chicago residents to gain hands-on experience in AI and technology.

We hope to bring this talk to other Colombian communities around the world, continuing the conversation on AI and its future.
